What NNADAP Workers Should Know

Thank You Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation

In 2017, the Ontario Regional Addictions Partnership Committee (ORAPC), launched a campaign called “Ask Me How I Did It’.

The campaign was designed to get the conversation started and to share success stories on wellbriety.

ORAPC is pleased to present a video from the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation who share their story on how they are “Living the Good Life”.

ORAPC Logo & Meaning

The ORAPC Logo was developed by Jessica Henhawk and represents 4 people joining hands to create a medicine wheel.  This connectedness represents a family, a community, and a committee partnership.  The medicine wheel depicts the healing process, medicines and the physical/mental/spiritual/emotional being.  They form a circle which represents the circle of life and the never ending cycle of recovery. There is a map of Ontario with the blue stroke representing the waters and the handshake representing the Ontario partnership.
